The annual celebration of Melbourne’s modern men, The Festival of Steve showcases unique designers, retailers, purveyors of classic merchandise, stylists and outfitters that reside within Melbourne to rejoice in being a thoroughly modern gentleman. 2017 is the events fifth year and is hosted by City Precinct and supported by City of Melbourne at The Kelvin Club. This year exhibitors include dynamic new start ups Article By Courtney Holm (A.BCH), Kimshu, Noble by Boble, Melbourne Watch Co., MET Designs, Trimly and Wawa Chocolatier as well as the return of Festival of Steve faithfuls such as Carl Nave – Individually Tailored, Farrah Life Equipment, Fortis Green Apparel, Lord Coconut, Mens Biz, Sally Mackinnon – Stylist for Men, Sinkonah Tonic, Little Brixton and The Wondersnack Co. The Kelvin Club is a private members club formed in 1865 and located 14- 30 Melbourne Place, Melbourne. The Kelvin Clubhouse was originally built in 1873 as a warehouse by JB Watson and served as a radio station for numerous broadcasters before The Kelvin Club took up residency. Female members were only admitted into the Kelvin Club as a result of changes to liquor licensing laws in 1995. Its is a member only club and membership is by referral from a current member and requires a seconder as well as approval by the committee, however it’s doors will be open to all on Saturday, June 3. The event is free entry and will offer tastings of some of Melbourne’s finest food and beverage as well as give you the chance to chat with those that keep the fellows primped, preened and perfectly presented. The Festival of Steve and City Precinct support Beyond Blue and donations will be accepted on arrival.
